原来some还可以是某种，某个特定的意思！有没有小伙伴跟我一样错在第四句觉得reason要加s的？

for some reason这里的some不是“一些”的意思，而是“某个”， 某种

具体的数字后面的量词不用复数s

比如 thousands of ,millions of 这样才要加s 像2million ，3thousand都是不用加的

第五句的it came into use有2个迷惑点，一是come into本义“进入”的意思， 不能用于被动语态和进行时态，如，come into the world出生，come into sight 映入眼帘，看见，come ino being 形成，产生，和这里的come into use投入使用等等。二是use有名词的用法，有使用，用途，功能等义。在这是投入使用的意思，不是came into using,came into use就ok了。哈哈，我就错在这了。第六句over 2 hundred people，表示200多的人，表具体几百，hundred不加s，但表示泛指时要加s，如hundreds of

but for some reason it could not be used then. 这里的reasom是不可数名词么？前面用了some这里确不用复数？

2、第一人称，动词 live 3、机场是被建造，用被动语态，be+及物动词过分 was built 6、量词前有具体数字时，不加s 8、同3一样的错误，be knocked 9、be determine to do sth.固定搭配

hundred,thousand,million以及billion，如果在这些词之前有具体数词1,2,3,4,........时，不能在这些词之后加s.反之，则可以用hundreds of,thousands of, millions of 以及billions of+名词表示模糊数量。

前面有数字修饰时，就不能加s。如one hundred，two hundred。表示大概数目时，如hundreds of成千上百。同理，thousand million billion也是这样的。

只有后面接of的时候才加s
