1）What is Jasper White's problem?

2）Jasper White is one of those rare people who believes in ancient myths.

3）He has just bought a new house in the city,but ever since he moved in,he has had trouble with cars and their owners.

4）When he returns home at night,he always finds that someone has parked a car outside his gate.

5）Because of this,he has not able to get his own car into his garage even once.

6）Jasper has put up 'No Parking' signs outside his gate,but these have not had any effect.

7）Now he has put an ugly stone head over the gate.

8）It is one of the ugliest face I have ever seen.

9）I asked him where it was and he told me that it was Medusa,the Gorgon.

10）Jasper hopes that she will turn cars and their owners to stone. But none of them have been turned to stone yet!

Face→faces. 是我见过的最丑的长相之一，face用复数。
9）I asked him where it was and he told me that it was Medusa,the Gorgon. （×）
Where→what， 根据上下文应该是what。 我问他那石头像是啥？他说是美杜莎。（希腊神话中的一个女妖）
10）But none of them have been turned to stone yet! （×）
None of them has…, 单数，不用have。
不明白第二句哪里错了...

    @王亚茹 琢磨了一会儿，觉得第二句的believe三单形式没有错，但也可以用believe。如果理解成其修饰people那么就是believe。但如果理解成修饰one of those rare people，那就是单数了。不知道这么想对不对。

      @王璐 是she吧，指的是美杜沙，那个石头头像。美杜沙是希腊神话中的一个女妖，看到她的人都会变成石头。jasper先生希望她（美杜沙石像）把车跟车主变成石头 W(`0`)W

2.believes改成believe，这里people是集体名词，who believes in ancient myths是修饰people，所以用复数；5.able钱加上been，be able to固定搭配；8.face改成faces，前面one of +名词，名词用复数形式；9.where改成what，从下句话回答判断是what，这个好难，是查出来的；10.have改成has，前面有none，所以用单数形式。

    @张忠伟 求助一：这里people是集体名词，who believes in ancient myths是修饰people，所以用复数；求助二：最高级后面是单数，既然是最好，就只有一个喽，本题前面有个one of所以face要变成faces。

我对照了一下新概念英语书上的这篇课文，第2）句话找不出错在哪里了，跟书上完全一样，书上也是believes in， 这样who引导的定语从句应该是修饰主语Jasper, 因为如果是修饰those rare people, 那就不应该是单三形式了，不知这样理解对不对。

回答一：在文中的who就修饰those rare people ,是复数所以who后面的谓语不是三单，不加s。回答二：最高级后面是复数。

Jasper White is one of those rare people who believe in anicent myths ,believe in ancient myths 我想是rare people 的定语吧。believe不用三单形式，
has had trouble with cars and their owners 中trouble 不用加S吗不是复数吗，
It is one of the ugliest faces i have ever seen ,
but none of them has been turned to stone yet .

who believe in修饰those rare people集合名词所以谓语动词不是三单所以that 后面谓语动词不加s;最高级后面是单数既然最好只有一个，one of最丑陋的长相之一face可数名词所以the ugliest faces
