1）Yesterday afternoon Frank Hawkins was telling me about his experiences as a young man.

10）She wanted him to repair their grandson’s bicycle!

2.a head改成the head，这里特指a company的head；3.hour改成hours，hour是可数名词；5.twenty改成twenties，在二十几岁，一般指20-29岁期间；8.year改成years，是指数年，year是可数名词；9.entered改成came，enter个人理解是穿过。。。进来，而come就是进来，这里是从门进来，没有穿过的意思。求助一：莫人几十岁表达形式，-ies，比如twenties，thirties，fifties，当我十几岁时可以这么表达when I was teenage；求助二：used to do sth表示过去常常做莫事，现在不做了，疑问句Did he use to work fourteen hours a day？否定句He didn't use to work fourteen hours a day或者He used not to work fourteen hours a day。

通过上下文，文章第一句说要讲Frank年轻时的经历，下文又得知Frank是一家大公司的老板（创始人），不定冠词a→定冠词the，有特指的意思。
3）It was his job to repair bicycles and at that time he used to work fourteen hour a day. （×）
hour→hours ，14个小时，复数。
5） In his twenty Frank used to make spare parts for aeroplanes. （×）
→In his twenties，在他20几岁时。
In one’s twenties/在某人20几岁时。 In the twenties/在20年代。
8）Frank smiled when he remembered his hard early year and the long road to success. （×）
Year→years， 艰辛的那些年，复数。
9）He was still smiling when the door opened and his wife entered in.（×）
Entered→came。 Came in : 进来。
2. used to do 表示过去常做某事，但现在不做了。I used to go to work by bus, Now I go by car.
used not to do/ didn't use to do, Did sb use to do... ?/ Used sb to do... ? 疑问句和否定句各有两种表达方式

    @王亚茹 9句enter 也可以是进入，我认为应为He was still smiling when the door opened and his wife entered 不用加in 对吗？

一、in one's teens,in one's twenties; 二、过去常做某事， he used to do sth,didn't he ? he didn't use to do sth/he used not to do sth.

"在某人几十岁的时候"应表达为"in one's 基数词的复数形式。"在我十几岁的时候"in my tens;used to do表示"过去常常做",其疑问句形式为“did use to do”否定句形式为“didn't use to do”.

used to do 表示过去常常做一件事，疑问句did he use to make sapre parts for aeroplane ?he didn't use to make spare parts for aeroplane .
